Pop-Up Optimization for Better Conversion and Engagement

This pop-up revamp was designed to enhance user experience and drive more sign-ups by reducing friction and building momentum through smart, psychology-backed design.

For this pop-up optimization project, I:

Identified key pain points in the original version, like being too easy to close and asking for too much information upfront. Which led to lower engagement and missed opportunities.

Redesigned the flow with a customer-first mindset, introducing a multi-step format that eased users into the process. The first step asked for a simple micro-commitment, making the pop-up feel approachable rather than overwhelming.

Leveraged behavioral psychology by using the “foot-in-the-door” principle. Once users took the first small step, they were more likely to complete the rest of the process.

Enhanced the overall brand impression by creating a clean, engaging, and frictionless experience that aligned with the brand’s tone and visuals.

Through these thoughtful adjustments, I boosted engagement, significantly improved sign-up rates, and helped the brand make a stronger, more lasting first impression
